Estate Planning, Trusts, Wills and Powers of Attorney

Western Pennsylvania Wills and Trust Attorney

Medicaid Planning Law Center

We value our ability to remain independent as long as possible and we also like to be able to pass some of what we have earned over our lifetimes on to our children. Our Attorneys can help you establish wills, trusts, and powers of attorney that will protect your assets and enable you to pass something on to your children and grandchildren. At the Medicaid Planning Law Center, we provide comprehensive estate and Medicaid planning for our elderly population and those who love them. Planning for the future is essential to protecting your assets from high nursing home costs.

If you need to draft a will or trust, Contact our Western Pennsylvania, Wills and Trust Lawyers at (412) 380-0220.

It is Not Too Early to Start Planning

If you die without a will, the state will determine where your assets go. Nursing home and long-term care facilities annual costs are more expensive than a college education. It is not too late to plan your will or establish a Medicaid qualifying trust to protect your assets.

  • Wills: This document indicates how your assets are distributed to your heirs after you pass away. At the Medicaid Planning Law Center we handle high assets and low assets. We also will help you write a living will (health care directive), a document that reduces the burden of decision making on your family.
  • Trusts: A trust can be a living trust or a special needs trust. It may be used to reduce potential taxes, for Medicaid eligibility, or to provide for family members.
  • Powers of attorney: This legal document gives a spouse or child the legal authority to make decisions for you. Establishing a power of attorney may function as a health care directives and healthcare powers.

At the Medicaid Planning Law Center we are committed to protecting your assets from nursing home costs. Read more about our other practice areas: Medicaid Planning and Asset Protection and Medicaid Applications.
